Dr. Jordan Brady Joins Wilson Medical Center

June 06, 2022

Wilson Medical Center is pleased to welcome Jordan Brady, M.D., to its medical staff. Dr. Brady is practicing with Dave DuVernois, certified physician assistant at Wilson Urology, where James Rounder, M.D., has been practicing for 32 years. Dr. Rounder retired from the practice on May 31, after providing 32 years of urology services to our hospital and community. We are pleased to continue providing quality urology care to patients in Wilson and the surrounding communities with the addition of Dr. Brady.

An Oklahoma native, Dr. Brady received his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Oklahoma City. He completed his general surgery internship and urology residency at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine in Albuquerque.

After completing his training, Dr. Brady started a urology practice in Oregon and provided urology care to adults and pediatrics. After two years in Oregon, he joined Associated Urologists of North Carolina in Cary, where he practiced since October 2020.

Dr. Brady is a board-certified urologist. He specializes in adult and pediatric urology, incontinence, vasectomy, kidney stones, urologic cancers, low testosterone, erectile dysfunction, Peyronie’s disease, and benign prostatic hyperplasia. Dr. Brady is also specially trained to perform robotic and minimally invasive surgical procedures.

With a focus on excellence in patient care, his goal is to bring cutting edge urologic treatments to Wilson and create an evolving practice that will grow to meet the needs of the community. This will include immediately offering bladder Botox for urinary incontinence, Xiaflex for Peyronie’s disease, Urolift treatment for benign prostatic hypertrophy, clinic-based vasectomy, procedures for chronic pelvic pain, MRI fusion biopsy for improved prostate cancer detection and advanced techniques for kidney stone treatment. He also hopes to soon offer robotic surgery for prostate cancer, kidney cancer and reconstruction.

Dr. Brady and his wife Chelsea have a six-month-old baby girl. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, gardening, playing guitar, traveling and cooking.

Dr. Brady is accepting new patients. Appointments may be made by calling 252.399.5300 or online. Wilson Urology has recently moved and is now located at 1700 Tarboro Street, Suite 204.
